Firstly my friend Cecilia Fage was on TV on Saturday, singing in Rod ("the mod") Stewart's backing band at the Princess Diana memorial concert.

Secondly Jason Broadstock (a mutual friend of Cecilia's too) was also on TV last weekend. Breadstick appeared in the BBC's re-run of 1995's "Britpop Now" show, where he stood in for Powder's bass player who had gone AWOL.
The TV show's producers asked if there was anyone who could play bass and would be prepared to play with the band. See the clip below, Jason's the one on the right... fits right in doesn't he.
I heard this story from him several years ago, so it was nice to finally see the clip. He does a good job considering he has literally just learned the song that day.
