According to a study by Joan Meyers-Levy, professor of marketing at University of Minnesota, the ceiling height effects the way individuals think in that room.
"When a person is in a space with a 10-foot ceiling, they will tend to think more freely, more abstractly" reports Meyers-Levy.
I'm not sure whether this is to do with how close the brain is to the ceiling, i.e. the room I'm in right now has 8 foot ceiling, so should I lie down to think more abstractly. Or is that daft?

I know when monkeys sneaked in to my flat that time and glued all my furniture to the ceiling it made feel horrible. I basically shrank into my shoes and melted into the floor. So I fully identify with Joan Meyers-Levy, Ceiling Professor at the University of Minnesota.
