This is good news, the main reason I don't use iTunes is because of it's DRM. Which is a shame because as a piece of software iTunes is great, certainly nicer to look at than Media Monkey which is what I've adopted while in Apple exile.
Anyway, Amazon's new MP3 service will work with both Windows Media player, and therefore dozens of other programs, as well as iTunes. Everyone's happy. Except perhaps Apple.
