Banged Up With Blunkett
by
Jason
on Tue 26 Feb 2008 14:36 GMT
I bumped into David Blunkett once in 1994 in Majorca. We were in one of those convenience stores they have under the large hotels which sell everything from milk and bread, to flip-flops and other beach paraphernalia. David Blunkett was buying a beach ball and my friends and I purchased the same "Blunkett Ball" to kick around the pool too... more »

Dalston Oxfam Shop
by
Jason
on Wed 20 Feb 2008 18:56 GMT
I used to live in Dalston and didn't think too much of the place at the time - though it sure beat Redhill. The one thing I did like was the large cut price Oxfam store. This wasn't the normal Oxfam shop you find in most high streets, with it's polite collection of books, records and nicely ironed, but generally dull, racks of clothes. This was a proper pile 'em high and sell 'em cheap charity shop, with more stuff for sale than... more »

Porsche to sue Livingstone
by
Jason
on Tue 19 Feb 2008 23:05 GMT
Porsche are considering suing the Mayor Of London over the increased congestion charges for larger engined vehicles, including it's own models. I find this quite a surprising move on the part of Porsche. It's kind of them to be sticking up for their owners, at the same time it sort of makes Porsche look a bit pathetic... more »
