Content is king they say, but more often than not the vital content is the final part to be added to the project.

Months may have been spent on site diagrams, interface design, backend development, but the cotent is usually left with the people who know it best, the client, and it usually comes in late.

Worse still, regardless of whether it hits the deadline it comes in "wrong". Not factually wrong, the content may be full of the details only the clients expertise could provide, but it's not written in a style suitable for the web, or it has been put together by a number of people and so doesn't have a single voice.

It's a pain, but a good editor on the team could be the answer. Anyway, found this good article about all this, and wish there was a editor where I work...
